Buysight CEO to Speak at eG8 Forum in Paris, France

Palo Alto, CA–May 19, 2011 – Buysight, a leader in online performance advertising, announced today that CEO and Founder Shaukat Shamim will take the stage at the eG8 Forum in Paris, France on May 25, 2011 at 11:30 AM Paris time at the main event site in the Tuileries Garden. Shamim is part of a prestigious group of Internet company CEOs invited by French president Nicolas Sarkozy to gather in advance of the G8 Heads of State and Government Summit in Deauville on May 26 and 27. The forum will address how traditional sectors are transforming under the influence of information technologies and communication. It will examine how the digital economy generates innovation, particularly in the fields of education, training, and life-long learning. Other key subjects will include intellectual property in the digital era, the growth of e-commerce and the new mobile Internet revolution. The outcomes of these discussions will be submitted to world leaders at the G8 itself.
Shamim will join a panel of Internet media and advertising leaders to discuss the art of the startup at the intersection of media and marketing. The space between publishers and advertisers has filled with innovative startups creating ever more sophisticated ways to connect companies with consumers.
