Job Description

Focus on retail/ecommerce sales, Internet Retailer Top 500 direct accounts and ecommerce Agencies. Prefer hire to be in Bay Area, but this is a National role with focus on East Coast and some mid-West. Travel 30%. Drive entire sales cycle from securing meetings with senior-level decision-makers, needs analysis, program and presentation development, sale and renewal, with both established and prospective accounts. Secure new clients for core performance advertising solutions around our remarketing product for retailers and merchants.

Grow business aggressively and accurately forecast, track and report revenue. Exceed quarterly revenue targets by selling at prevailing rates. Role will report to the SVP Sales.

Preferred Skills

  • Min 5 years+ successful outside Sales experience in online display and/or ecommerce ad solutions.
  • Confident selling a differentiated retargeting solution in a highly competitive environment.
  • Winning track record in online advertising sales with a drive to succeed.
  • Ideally, possess a strong knowledge of the ecommerce space – know the companies, buyers and decision makers and able to come with a book of business.
  • Consultative, but aggressive seller with ability to cross-sell opportunities that best meet client's needs.
  • Self-motivated, creative, results driven, solution oriented, direct and convincing when it's right for the customer.
  • Ability to remain focused and flexible during rapid change; experience in startup environments a strong plus.
  • Solid computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel. Salesforce.com skills a plus.
  • Familiarity with both online and offline 3rd party research such as comScore, and Nielsen.
  • BA/BS degree.
  • Excellent references (recent and relevant) from both former clients and employers.
  • Outstanding written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
